Rock Scene & other heavy music activities

Rock Scene captures the best in modern, exciting rock music and can be heard around the world. I launched it in 2018 as the global modern rock playlist brand for Amazon Music

Rock Scene presents…is a multiplatform brand extension that covers live shows, twitch streams and festival integration. Thus far with my team I’ve delivered projects to:

  • partner on gigs with Waterparks, All Time Low and Dinosaur Pile-Up
  • broadcast twitch streams with You Me At Six, Yonaka, Trash Boat, Demob Happy, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, WARGASM, The Pale White, Kid Kapichi and more
  • run special collaboration with Sounds Australia to celebrate the best in Aussie heavy music with Stand Atlantic, DZ DEATHRAYS, The Dead Love, Yours Truly & Waxflower
  • be the headline sponsor of Slam Dunk Festival 2021, powering the Main Stage with the likes of Don Broco, As It Is, Waterparks and more performing to 60k people.

In rock related activities at Amazon Music we’ve released Amazon Original tracks including Abbey Road orchestrations with the likes of Nothing But Thieves, Biffy Clyro, Architects, You Me At Six & Demob Happy and others (covers / originals) with the likes of Tigercub, Vukovi, The Amazons, Stand Atlantic, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes & more.

I’ve also lead the Amazon Music headline sponsorship of the Heavy Music Awards for the second year in a row, celebrating the best in noisy music, performances and the scene from around the world.

You’ll see some of the projects / content I’ve worked on supporting heavy music up in lights in around the world too, including London, Toronto, Times Square (NYC) and Los Angeles.
